Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) presents as a potentially serious side effect that can happen to women undergoing fertility procedures. This occurs when the ovaries react excessively to fertility medications, causing a rapid increase in size and fluid accumulation. Symptoms of OHSS can range from mild and include abdominal pain, bloating,
